A little about me…

Greetings friend!

I am glad you stopped by today to my blog. Here is a little about myself and the reason why this blog was created.

My name is Pamela. I was raised in a Christian home in Southern California USA. My life has taken quite a spin through my years. Although I was headed for a music degree, during my first year in college I really felt my faith in Christ ignite and I switched my major to Intercultural Communications with a view towards serving God overseas in Europe.

I had always had an attraction to Europe. Even as a child my dad would practice his French on me…and it was through him I was introduced to my first plate of escargot! ( I know many of you are saying “Ew!” at the moment, but seriously they are still my favorite!) I got in contact with Greater Europe Mission and served on a couple of summer projects in France during my college years. After getting my degrees, I immediately was accepted to serve as a full time missionary in Belgium on a church planting team.

After a few years, God saw fit to bring me back to the United States. Those were difficult times personally, but times of great growth. Life has taken me through Oregon and to Jackson, Wyoming. I had a great career in State government and raised a beautiful daughter. But I always knew I would head back to serve in Europe some day. Now, that day has come. I headed back to France under Greater Europe Mission at Camp des Cimes (Camp of the Peaks) in September 2019. It feels great to be back watching God’s hand work here.

This blog was created at the request of my home church. It will show God’s hand in bringing me back to serve Him in Europe, preparing me for that ministry, and the amazing experiences that reflect His glory along the way. Read on in my blog to hear… the rest of the story!

It’s all about showing God’s glory to the world…

“In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we might be for the praise of His glory.”

Ephesians 1:11-12

“To Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work in us, to Him be the glory…”

Ephesians 3:20-21

“… Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

1 Corinthians 10:31

Success! You're on the list.
